家族の悲劇を招く 禁断の儀式がはじまる

正体不明の穴 禁足地 消えた息子 巫女の妻の秘密…

<STORY>
As mysterious disappearances of mothers and children occur across Japan, a deep, unidentifiable hole suddenly appears at a new suburban construction site. Around the same time, Wada's son—working at the site—vanishes without a trace.The hole leads to a strange, otherworldly forest, where shrine maidens perform bizarre rituals to appease a mysterious “male god.” Learning that his son may have wandered into this forbidden place, Wada descends into the hole himself—only to uncover an ancient terror. What awaits is an unspeakable horror born from breaking the ultimate taboo: entering a hole that has long been feared and passed down in legend as a place no one must ever enter...

Featuring a powerful lead performance by Yuuya Endou, who left a striking impression in ONODA: 10,000 Nights in the Jungle, the film also brings together a diverse and captivating cast: Sho Ayanagi, a former top “otokoyaku” (male-role star) of the Takarazuka Revue’s Snow Troupe; Genki Iwahashi, former member of King & Prince and now a hugely popular solo artist; and Akari Suda, who served as Team E leader of idol group SKE48. The film is based on the original story “Male God (Otokogami)”, which gained acclaim in 2020 through its selection in the “From Japan (Mino, Hida, and beyond) to the World! Visual Planning Project.” The story was later featured on the popular Japanese YouTube horror narration channel Kowai Hanashi Kaidan Roudoku, where it quickly became a viral hit—hailed by fans as “the scariest story ever”—leading to the realization of its cinematic adaptation. A highly anticipated horror fantasy born from internet legend.
